School Yearbook
Posted April 11, 2016
Soc Prep's official yearbook club was started this year with nothing but an idea and a handful of students. Determined to have a real yearbook, these students, with the support of two faculty advisors, put together a book that chronicled all the events and news of the year. The theme of the book this year was Comic Books! In the yearbook club's inaugural year, a lot was learned and these lessons will be put into next year's book.
Discovery Presentation: Lebanon

In the Discovery Program, the students brought others on a quick journey to Lebanon. They each exhibited a city, both the ancient and modern parts. After visiting the wonderful cities, the audience got a quick lesson in the language. The students designed and played a gameshow that entirely revolved around the language. The presenters even dressed up in the formal wear of their city. At the end of it all, food was brought out: some traditional Lebanese food. The students enjoyed their trip, and got some cool facts about Lebanon out of it too.
