The program is intended to encourage community involvement, expose students to real world experiences, demonstrate how various disciplines connect and merge to create and innovate technology, sciences and everyday products and services.
The ultimate objective of this program is to allow students to find meaning and prospect in their inherent talents as they unearth their true potential and grow to cultivate their strength in the service of their well being and as exceptional citizens in the service of their community.

Just A Few Examples Of Student Elected Clubs:
Gardening
In the Gardening Club, students maintain and grow plants around school grounds. Not only do they grow beautiful flowers that give off a lovely smell whenever you walk by, but they also grow vegetables and herbs. Students are learning about responsibility and sustainability... all while having a snack!
Cooking
Once a month, students line up to participate in our school's Cooking Club. Here they make snacks from scratch and even try out recipes they found online. These cooking skills will follow them through life and ensure that they have essential skills. Soon they may even start cooking dinner for their families!
Karate
In Karate, students are lead by our expert sensei, Colton Woodard, to not only practice form and techniques to win every fight, but also to get all that energy out from sitting down all day.
As our students move up and gain experience, they wear their successes in the color of the belts they've earned.
They walk the halls with accomplishments tied to their waists.
Classical and Performing Arts
Time to get Creative!
Students practice a wide variety of styles, techniques, and mediums when working in Art Club, while they get to express themselves in their art.
Many of our students are also interested in musical or performing arts. Instruments such as the cello and piano are favorites at Socrates and we are always welcoming new musical talent into our program.
